| Well no one ever comes here! Last Ohgr tour, they did do Buffalo, but I didn't know about it. I never check, because I figure they just won't come here! |

Ohgr's second tour is almost complete with 25 dates in US and Canada. The "Live Devils in My Details" tour was originally delayed but managed to get started in San Diego on November 18. The tour has run through medium size clubs. Ohgr's last tour was for the debut release "W.E.L.T." in 2001.
We caught the live date at Boston where we talked to Nivek Ogre. The band (Ogre: vocal treatments, William Morrison: guitar, Justin Bennett: drums, Squigg: keyboards) played through most of the new concept record release with added favourites from the two earlier CD:s. The live line-up had a new energy with Ogre playfully interacting with the audience.
At an earlier stop in California, cult actor Bill Moseley appeared onstage to perform the spoken word segments he recorded on the latest album "Devil in My Details". On this tour, long time Skinny Puppy stage tech Sasha Coon, who suffers from a back injury he got in April, has been promoted to tour stage manager This tour ends December 22 at Tempe, AZ, just before Christmas. American Memory Project has been the supporting act for all tour dates.
Ohgr looks to tour Europe in the spring if the anchor dates are secured.
On a sidenote, Ogre's actorial debut in "Repo! The Genetic Opera" continues a limited run at select US movie houses.

well they came, but didn't come back. should have said not very often good concerts come here. |
